Our work in education systems and automation Less friction.
More capacity.

The kinds of problems we take on, how we approach them and what changes. Technology earns its place when it makes work better.

Examples are drawn from our founder's work in Victorian schools and are anonymised.

The shape of the work

A system shaped around
the organisation.

Replacing disconnected tools and manual process with something integrated, designed around the way staff already work rather than the way a vendor assumes they should.

How we describe results

Platform consolidation

Problem. A key program run across an expensive external platform, spreadsheets and email, with tracking, communication and compliance split between them.

Approach. Mapped the end-to-end process with the staff running it, identified what the external platform did that was actually needed, and designed a single workflow around existing practice.

Outcome. One integrated system for tracking, communication and compliance, built around how staff already work.

What was built. A bespoke system integrated with existing school data.

Leadership reporting

Problem. Leaders relying on manual reporting cycles, with staff assembling information from several systems each time.

Approach. Worked with leadership to define the recurring questions they needed answered, then traced where the data lived and how often it changed.

Outcome. Always-current views, so leaders spend less time assembling information and more time acting on it.

What was built. Dashboards drawing directly on source systems.

AI and automation

Problem. Interest in AI across the organisation, but no shared view on where it genuinely helps or how to govern it.

Approach. Identified candidate uses with the people doing the work, tested them against risk and value, and designed the governance first.

Outcome. Clear, usable guidance and a small number of workflows staff can use day to day.

What was built. Only where the use case justified it: supervised automation with human review.
